Monkey Wrench Gang - Edward Abbey

Novel about a group of very different characters who join together to fight development. I found all of the characters to have traits that annoyed me, none were perfect heros, but this grealty improved the stregth of the story. Must read for anyone who has spent significant time in the Southwest.
